Mission

This year the Fermoy Enterprise Board (FEB) celebrates 25 years in existence. And so this seems an appropriate moment to look at its values, its vision and its ambitions for Fermoy and the wider sub-region.

In its mission statement, the FEB makes it very clear that it is an independent voluntary organisation accountable to its members.

Its primary function is to protect existing jobs within the greater Fermoy area and to advance the development of new employment opportunities in both the public and private sectors. Specifically the Board’s focus is aimed at attracting and encouraging inward investment. And despite the current economic difficulties, supporting the development and expansion of the retail, commercial, technological and industrial sector is a primary objective.

The FEB’s driving ambition is to make Fermoy a centre of economic, social and environmental excellence with a vibrancy that strives to realise the full potential of all its citizens.
