There’s no doubt about it, Fermoy is a fantastic place to live. For a town of its size (a population of just over 5000) it offers an unrivaled choice of schools, sporting facilities, clubs and societies, shops, bars and restaurants.

The River Blackwater is the main feature of the town and there are several walkways and trails where you can walk or cycle and enjoy the local wildlife. The town itself has a wide variety of shops and boutiques where you can spend enjoyable afternoons perusing the shelves. There are great bargains to be had in Fermoy and by shopping locally you are helping to maintain employment and are putting money into the local economy.

There are a wide variety of bars, restaurants and cafes in Fermoy where you can spend time with friends and unwind over a cup of coffee or a quite pint.

There is a club for everyone in Fermoy, we have a proud sporting tradition and there is lots to get involved in; GAA, Rugby, Soccer, Rowing, Swimming, Golf, Pitch and Putt, Cycling, Triathlon, the list goes on and on!
