Fermoy is located approximately 20 miles from Cork City and located strategically on the crossroads of the M8 Motorway linking Cork and Dublin and the National Secondary N72 linking Killarney to Dungarvan. The built up core of the town has a population of approximately 5,700 with a further 10,000 in the surrounding hinterland.
